They form a large Network and are an important part of life for millions of Thais everyday. Mainly built and used for drainage and transportation purposes hundreds of years ago, you can still see many water taxis zipping back and forth carrying many locals to and from work. On this amazing tour, you will cruise pass the Oriental Hotel, the old Customs, Santa Cruz Cathedral and Wat Kanlaynamit. Stop at one of the most identified landmarks in Bangkok, Wat Arun. Wat Arun, or the 'Temple of Dawn' is located on the Thonburi side of the 'River of Kings'. Back in the seventeenth century King Taksin built Thonburi to be Siam's new capital city and also the incredible Wat Arun. Then in the nineteenth century King Rama II decided to extend it and built its distinctive prang (spires). IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Unfortunately this tour is not wheelchair accessible
  • Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults
  • Child price is 2-11 years (please note that there is not a minimum age for this tour, however, the tour operator can not provide life-jackets to fit very small children)
  • Infant seats are On Request Basis if advised after booking (road transfers only)
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers
  • There is a strict Dress Code for visiting the Wat Arun or the 'Temple of Dawn'. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves - no sleeveless tops
  • If you're wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks (in other words, no bare feet.)
  • Women must be similarly modestly dressed. No see-through clothes, bare shoulders, dresses must be below knee length (preferably covering the ankle), no open-toe shoes, etc. It is also recommended to avoid bright colors).
  • At least 2 people are required for this activity to take place. Single traveler may book this product, but is subject to availability and cancellation if minimum number of people is not met on the activity day. (Alternative date or refund will be offered should this occur)
  • Approximately 90 minutes is spent inside the Grand Palace complex
